the land

On Friday (Spring Solstice) we officially took possession of our land. On Saturday, we hired a man and his ride on mower to cut the grass which was up to Honor’s tummy in places and today, we picnicked there. It was the most beautiful Spring day. So warm that we were able to kick off our winter boots and run around bare foot. New born calves in the next paddock watched us as we cooked sausages and drank in the peacefulness. One of my favourite days since moving to this stunning country where anything seems possible.

I love the reminder of the land “where anything seems possible”. I felt the same way when I moved here. My husband and I felt like we could do anything our heart’s desired. We’ve been here over 7 years and only just bought our piece of paradise in February. I enjoy following your journey.

  5. Thank you Kelly. I’ll post photos as things progress. Planning on the build starting in January if all goes according to plan.

  6. Thank you donnellday. We think that it’s pretty special also.

    Hello Alison

I am interested to read of your new project (and life happenings)……recently I have set up within Lennox Design in Masterton selling fresh flowers as I have done from home for some time now. It’s amazing to have a base in town, especially at this gorgeous time of year, do pop in and see sometime.

    Kind Regards

    Annie CB
