crafty girls road trip

When we landed in Auckland to begin our new life on 12th September  2006, the very first book I picked up at Paper Plus was Crafty Girls’ Road Trip by Ann Packer. I no doubt breathed a sigh of relief to discover that the craft scene in New Zealand was alive and vibrant. Ann’s and my paths, a couple of years later, crossed and we became friends. Little connections and coincidences like that no longer surprise me. It’s always happening in this amazing country but then I suppose like is always going to attract like.

I am very pleased to announce that the brand spanking new revised and updated version of Crafty Girls’ Road Trip is due for release next month. My tip for April is to grab yourself a copy. There’s even a website included in the book that you might be familiar with!

Whilst we’re on the subject of Ann, do you have a copy of  her beautifully inspiring book Stitch? It’s another MUST have for your book collection.

Happy reading!
