THOSE FEW LINES, ALONG WITH THAT LOVELY PHOTO, PAINT A GREAT PICTURE (IN MIND) – A SUBTLE REMINDER – WE ALL SHOULD TAKE A LITTLE TIME OUT!… very nice. Tnx

  2. What a lovely comment Sue – thank you. You’re right you know, so often we forget to take time to recharge even if it’s just grabbing 5 minutes here and there. Enjoy your moments. x

  3. A lovely snapshot Alison…

I don’t sit in my garden anywhere as often as I might and one of my faithful retainers (feline) is always happy to spend some time outdoors with me – I have no excuse. 🙂

ps. The succulent I mentioned is here http://wwwretrofemmeobjetdart.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html

  4. Thank you Retrofemme for your comment and also for the link. Your work is breath-takingly beautiful. I adore botanical images. I recently purchased an oversized Taschen book crammed with old prints. If you’re ever down this way then remind me and I’ll show it to you.

  5. hmmm yes take tiem to smell the roses huh, not something we do near enough of… and such a charming companion!

  6. Yep – it seems that we all have to be reminded of that Shiree. Hope that all is well. 🙂

  7. Love your choice of crockery, that in itself is a treat… seeing Barbara reminds me of the episode of The Good Life I watched on a flight back from Melbourne in December and I loved it so much more all over again. Fabulous x

  8. What a great name for a hen!

  9. what a lovely picture and post – so nice to stop and enjoy the quiet moments x
