Catching my eye in the garden this morning…

image: jurassic artichoke leaves against grey river stone

image: the vibrant greens of camomile, lemon balm and bergamot

image: shadows and pops of purple under the old pear tree

image: next doors clematis spilling over our fence

image: moss and lichen on top of our washing line

    Ahh… the lovely blue sky.
    It’s cloudy and grey today in Wellington – however I discovered an old fashioned white iris in bud this morning. The flowers when out have delicate gold threads, looking for all the world as if someone had dipped a fine brush in paint and then lightly touched each petal. Quite stunning.
