book making

It’s been such a great weekend – tiring but great. Do you remember the book making workshop I attended in Taupo a few months ago? Well, I enjoyed it so much that I invited Julz Henderson, mixed media and book arts artist extraordinaire, down to my studio to do it all over again. A workshop took place here  on Saturday and was repeated again on the Sunday. A homemade lunch on soup breads, muffins and  baked wedges were served in the cottage  halfway through the day with Mr Tread Softly acting as head waiter.

The concentration coming from the studio was incredible – thick with focus.

It was such a success that Julz and I talked about doing it all over again next year.

a workshop extraudinair. Perfect calm environment.
Clear helpful demonstrations and best of all ———all required materials supplied. We were not asked to bring even a ruler, . We went away with a pot of special recipe
PVC paper and card glue ——-which actually works.
Everyone was a winner. Many thanks Susana
