I so wish Monty would be hypnotized by knitting needles. Instead he likes to chase the ends, pawing and biting them. Then he knocks the wool onto the floor and gets tangled in it. Disaster! Love the colour, by the way. I absolutely love greens of most shades.

  4. That works so well!! It doesn’t work for Labradors. They like to be ON the knitting.

  5. Such a cute cat – and so well behaved. I thought cats went wild when wool is around?

Such peace and tranquility – if only you could bottle it.
    Lovely bit of knitting
Oh such a cute cat too who couldnt have picked a beter home – life is sweet.

  8. My cat does the same thing. It’s like she has radar. I pick up my crochet hook or knitting needles, and she comes strolling in to take her spot.
Thank goodness she doesn’t play with the yarn.
    Gotta love cats.

  9. too cute! I love the progression of these photos!

  10. My budgie used to sit on my hand as I was knitting, but far from being hypnotised, she would try to take the needle points in her beak and would be come enraged when she couldn’t, because I was knitting so fast. The clickety-click sound made her squawk in reply!
