snippets from my week

This week…

…I started a book club with 6 other women

…I discovered Chocolate Fish and how good they taste

…I brought a pear bowl for 50 cents at the Op Shop

…I received three gifts from girlfriends – linen trousers, a gorgeous dress and an over-locker!! I know! An over-locker!!! I can’t get over that one!

…I discovered a most amazing flower growing in a car park. It looks as though it’s made up of tiny feathers

…we celebrated Mr Tread Softly’s birthday and our wedding anniversary. It was our 5th. We got married 7 years to the hour that we met so really it was our 5th/12th. I couldn’t imagine life without him. Every day I wake up and think about how lucky I am. I love my darling man more each year, if that’s possible.

Thank you for all the zip tips. It seems that I’m not the only one who has problems with them. Am making time next week to experiment.

Until next time…

    Hi Alison
I have just read your blog. Andrew and I got married 7 years to the day as well. Our anniversary is tomorrow (15 years) – 22 years of knowing each other! We called it our seven year hitch rather than itch! Just think you have been in NZ for nearly a year. It is the Arundel Gallery Trail at the end of August. I shall be thinking of you. Plus I finally finished the roof terrace. Andrew, me and the children lay up their on cushions by candlelight watching the August shooting stars. We were up there a long time and saw about three. One was the longest trail of a shooting star we had ever seen. I am going to start a blog. Is typepad good?
Miss you loads. Happy Anniversary to you both.
