New year – new stationary. I simply cannot resist pens, pencils, notebooks, stickers and calendars. My 2012 calendar choice is by New Zealand photographer, Susanah Tucker. Gorgeous imagery, cute statements and perfect for our cottage. At the end of the year, the dates will be trimmed off and the photos framed or strung out on twine in a particular little girls room.
I’m working on a special art area in a corner of the dining room for Honor. I adore the little images taped to the wall. They’re making me smile today.

It is all lovely but I warn you that Honor’s colour choice might get brighter with age and there is not a thing you can do about it.

Hi Cath! The house is littered with brightly coloured tat all day long believe it or not. We do have a big clear up before lunch and dinner which Honor enjoys at the moment. Long may it continue!
Christmas was lovely, gentle, perfect – all that I dreamt it would be. We had my Mum and Dad over from the UK so it all felt very complete. Just need to convince them to move over here now!!! The seed has been planted so we’ll just see if it grows!
